What follows is a working guide to how we expect people to behave while using Brick Hill Rewritten and anything else we provide alongside it — it isn't meant to be a complete, word-for-word legal contract covering every conceivable scenario, but rather a practical reference for what's acceptable and what isn't. Using the platform means you're agreeing to follow both this document and our Terms of Service (referred to together below as the "terms of use"). We'll try to flag significant updates to registered users when they happen, but staying current with the latest version is ultimately on you.

Breaking any rule listed here leads to some form of consequence. Most of the time that means a warning — we'd rather correct a misstep than escalate immediately. In more serious cases, specific features might be limited or switched off, either for a while or permanently. And if a pattern of repeated or particularly severe violations emerges, every account we can reasonably tie back to you — past, present, or future — may be shut down for good.

Decisions about enforcement sit with our staff team, who discuss edge cases internally before acting and retain final discretion over how a rule applies to a specific situation. If anything here reads as unclear, or you just want a second opinion before doing something borderline, reach out to a moderator — that's genuinely what we're here for, not just to hand out punishments.

Disagree with an account closure? Email bhrewritten@gmail.com and explain your side — appeals are reviewed by someone who wasn't part of the original decision wherever our team size allows for that.

Warning:
The most common outcome for a first-time or minor issue. A warning doesn't restrict your account further — it's a flag that something needs to change going forward.

Restriction:
A temporary limitation on specific features (posting, trading, messaging) rather than the whole account. Restrictions are usually paired with an explanation of what triggered them, and exist to cool a situation down rather than punish indefinitely.

Closure:
Reserved for repeated or serious violations. Because multiple accounts belonging to the same person are treated as a single user under these rules, a closure typically extends to every account we can reasonably connect to you, not just the one involved in the incident.

The categories below cover content we don't allow anywhere on the platform. This list illustrates common cases rather than exhausting every possibility — our staff can act on content that clearly violates the spirit of these rules even if it isn't named explicitly below.

Conversations that glorify, instruct, or share firsthand accounts of illegal activity aren't permitted here, regardless of how the topic is framed. That extends to pirated software or media, and to violent content of any kind — written, drawn, or otherwise depicted.

Nobody on our staff will ever privately ask you for personal or account details — if that happens, it isn't really us. Official updates only come through our actual social channels and blog, so treat anything claiming otherwise with suspicion. Pretending to be a staff member or another user, or knowingly spreading misleading claims with intent to deceive, is not allowed.

Suicide, self-harm, disordered eating, and similar topics touching on serious physical or mental harm are off-limits for discussion in any context — including ones that might seem supportive on the surface. If you're concerned about someone, contact a moderator rather than addressing it publicly.

This platform isn't a space for romantic or sexual relationships between users, nor for content that frames it that way. Sexually explicit material is banned outright, and that ban is enforced more strictly, not less, when it involves anyone from this community.

Pornographic content, in writing or imagery, has no exceptions here — this includes but isn't limited to:

Content aimed at hurting a specific person isn't something we tolerate. Automated filtering catches a lot of this before it spreads, which means anything that slips through has often been deliberately worded to dodge that filtering — we treat those cases with extra seriousness precisely because of that intent.

Targeting people based on group identity isn't acceptable here, whether it's outright hostile or framed as a "joke." This covers comments aimed at, among other things:

Sensitive topics can be discussed in limited contexts (see Section 3.4), but that's never an opening to discriminate — every discussion still has to be conducted respectfully.

Slurs are banned without exception, including when someone claims to be "reclaiming" a term, using it informationally, or applying it to themselves. There's no context in which it's treated as acceptable here.

How you treat other users matters at all times, not just when staff happen to be watching. Examples of behavior we consider harassment include, without limitation:

Some heavier topics can come up naturally in conversation, and we don't ban them outright — but they're watched closely, and anything that turns hostile or distressing gets shut down quickly.

A few subjects, however, are off the table regardless of tone or intent, including but not limited to:

Everything we offer in the way of virtual currency, items, accessories, or accounts stays under our control, and using or trading it is only permitted through channels we actively monitor. "Off-platform activity" describes anything that moves an interaction somewhere we can't oversee it — and that doesn't strictly require leaving the site itself to count.

Buying, selling, lending, or otherwise exchanging virtual goods through outside platforms or third-party tools isn't allowed. We can't help recover anything — items, accounts, currency — lost through that kind of exchange, because it happens entirely outside our visibility.

Pressuring someone into handing over virtual goods, real money, or any other benefit through threats, intimidation, or coercion is never tolerated.

Tricking someone into a trade through deception also counts — convincing a user an item is worth more or less than it actually is, or manipulating them into giving up ownership under false pretenses.

Artificially inflating or deflating perceived item values, or abusing a platform bug for trading advantage, falls under this as well (see Section 6.1 for the technical side of this).

Daily login currency exists as a reward for actual engagement, not a resource to be funneled. Using secondary accounts to multiply that reward into one main account is prohibited.

Likewise, using alternate accounts to buy up limited-stock items before regular users get a fair shot is not allowed.

Basic respect and consideration for others is the expectation across every part of the platform. Deliberately making the experience worse for other users isn't something we'll look past.

Your username — and any change you make to it — needs to follow the same standards as the rest of the platform, plus a few specific to names, including but not limited to:

Low-value, repetitive, or meaningless posting counts as spam — that includes wall-of-text posts with no real content, mass-replicated messages across threads or groups, low-effort one-line replies, posting in the wrong section entirely, and encouraging other people to do any of the above.

Deliberately stirring conflict or disrupting other users' experience isn't allowed, whether through inflammatory posting, derailing unrelated conversations, running multiple accounts to fake agreement (sockpuppeting), baiting people into reacting, or posting purely to shock or upset.

Mentioning other sites, games, or platforms in conversation is fine. Using our platform as a megaphone to promote something we don't monitor is not — and any advertising of our own content still has to respect the other rules here, spam included (Section 5.2).

However many accounts you control, you're treated as a single user under these rules. Using a second account to break the rules, gain an exploit-driven advantage, or sidestep punishment already applied elsewhere is strictly prohibited.

Encouraging or tricking someone else into violating the rules — or helping them dodge a restriction, for instance by quietly moving items off an account right before a ban lands — also falls under this.

Abusing the report system itself, or working around filters and blocks, is treated the same way.

Sharing non-identifying information is something you can choose to do at your own risk, though what counts as "identifying" is ultimately our judgment call. Generally fine to mention:

That said, sharing — or pressuring others to share — anything more specific isn't allowed. Identifying information includes, but isn't limited to:

Posting photos — of yourself, friends, family, people you've met online, or even public figures — isn't permitted here under any circumstance.

Attempting to track down or locate another user for any reason is also strictly off-limits. If you genuinely believe someone is in danger, contact a moderator immediately, and local authorities if the situation calls for it.

Anything you upload here comes with an implicit claim from you: that you made it, or that you have clear permission to use and share it the way you're sharing it.

Stealing artwork, miscrediting its original creator, or using copyrighted or trademarked material without authorization is never acceptable — that includes characters or assets from other games, shows, or franchises without explicit approval from whoever owns that property.

We try to catch and remove infringing content when we spot it, but the responsibility for what you upload sits with you first, and you accept whatever consequences follow from content that turns out to violate someone else's rights.

Beyond content and conduct, the platform's underlying systems are also covered by these rules — using or abusing them outside their intended purpose is treated as a rules violation in its own right.

Using third-party scripts, injected code, modified clients, or automated bots to gain an advantage — in trading, in games hosted on the platform, or anywhere else — is prohibited. This includes automating actions a human would normally have to perform manually, such as scripted clicking, auto-trading, or vote manipulation.

If you find a security flaw, bug, or exploit, the right move is reporting it to bhrewritten@gmail.com rather than using it, sharing it publicly, or showing others how to replicate it. Responsible disclosure is genuinely appreciated; using a vulnerability before reporting it is treated as exploitation regardless of intent.

Clans bring their own dynamic to the platform, and a few extra expectations apply specifically to group play and leadership.

Clan owners and officers are expected to keep their own spaces (clan chat, clan-run events) within these same rules. Repeated violations happening under a leader's watch without action being taken can result in consequences for the clan itself, not just the individual member involved.

Rivalries and competition between clans are part of the experience and are welcome in good spirit. Harassment, coordinated targeting of another clan's members, or conflict that spills into personal attacks is not — clan rivalry is not a license to bypass Section 3.

Content created with the help of AI tools is permitted on the platform provided it follows every other rule in this document exactly as if it had been made by hand — an AI origin doesn't excuse content that would otherwise violate Sections 2, 3, or 5.7. Passing off AI-generated work as entirely your own original creation when directly asked is treated the same as any other instance of misleading information under Section 2.3.
